Welcome to The Salty Baker.
I’m Brian — the Salty Baker — and I’m so glad you’re here. I hope you feel it the moment you open the box: this is baking done with heart, humor and a whole lot of love.

 

My passion for baking started at a very young age, right in my mom’s kitchen. I remember sitting at the table while she baked, proudly handed my own little bowl, tossing in random ingredients and pretending I was creating a masterpiece. Back then, the recipes were mostly imagination — but the joy was very real. Those moments stuck with me and they’re the reason baking is very special to me.

 

Today, my ingredients aren’t random anymore (I promise). They’re thoughtful, tested and chosen with care — many inspired by the flavors I grew up loving. And the best part? I still bake using my mom’s mixer, so in a way, she’s with me every single time I turn it on. It’s my favorite reminder that the best recipes are passed down, not perfected. My husband Jon is my taste tester and he’s brutally honest, so I know when he loves a cookie, it must be pretty good.

 

At The Salty Baker, I’ve picked my favorite cookies to bake — and yes, my favorite ones to eat, too. They’re a little nostalgic, a little indulgent and always made to be shared. Whether you’re celebrating something big or just craving a moment of sweetness, I hope you enjoy these treats as much as I love making them for you.
